Storia

Il nome deriva dalla piccola mwgwtorbiera (mwhaStagno della Polada) in mwhqLombardia, tra mwhgLonato del Garda, Menasasso e mwhwDesenzano del Garda. I primi reperti attribuiti a questa mwiaculturacite-ref-1[1] furono scoperti negli anni tra il 1870 e il 1875 a seguito di intense attività di bonifica in quella torbiera, e furono raccolti da mwjqGiovanni Rambotti.

La mwjwdatazione al mwkaCarbonio-14 sui reperti, li colloca tra il 1380 a.C. circa e il 1270 a.C.cite-ref-2[2] Altri siti importanti si trovano nella zona tra mwlqMantova, il mwlgLago di Garda e il mwlwLago di Pusiano.
